About The Owner

How it started…
It was no longer practical to work in my garage / driveway, rolling around on the floor, so The Yorkshire Blasters™ was born in 2026.

I absolutely love working on cars and take a lot of pride and joy over my work. I work alone and you only deal with me – the owner, from start to finish, No clueless receptionist that cannot answer your questions and definitely no AI chatbots!

Working alone means things do take a little longer. I do not rush and will not work to unrealistic deadlines or pressure. Typically I need your car for few days, but sometimes things might take a little longer. Remember, in most cases, until the vehicle is in the air with all the trays and liners removed, we are pretty much dealing with the unknown.

In my spare time, I love to work on my own cars (when I get the chance!). Most of my weekends are taken up competing in the British Hillclimb Cup in Class A2, in my Porsche GT4RS. I’m fortunate to have the backing of Carl Cox Motorsport as title sponsor and together we have secured some respectable results – 2nd in 2025 and 3rd in 2026.
