Dinitrol Underbody Corrosion Rust Protection Package For FIAT 500

As many of you will already have discovered, the underbody of the Fiat 500 corrodes extremely badly. Over the past few months here at The Yorkshire Blasters, we have worked on several Fiat 500 MOT failures – the failures are as a result of loss of structural integrity, caused by severe underbody corrosion. Major problem (and dangerous) areas we have identified:

Rear Axle
The whole axle corrodes badly, but the base plate that the springs sits on is a real weak point. I have seen holes in the plates in some cars I have examined, resulting in severe loss of structural integrity. Should one of the plates fail whilst driving at speed, this would cause complete loss of control of the vehicle, resulting in a potential catastrophic collision.

Shock absorbers
They corrode at the very bottom and begin to weep. As the fluid leaks out over the time, suspension stability is lost and you have an extremely dangerous situation with brake fluid leaking all over the brake disc and pads.

Sump
Yes, these are a complete joke and may as well be made from paper mache. On all cars, they were all too far gone, so all were replaced – nightmare job!

Dinitrol Underbody Corrosion Rust Protection Package FIAT 500

1. Remove plastic arch liners (and we also replace those horrible fasteners for you for ones that don’t turn to dust!)
2. Dry Ice Clean Underbody
3. Remove Heavy Underbody Corrosion
4. Apply Dinitrol Rust Converter
5. Apply Dinitrol Cavity Protection
6. Apply Underbody Corrosion Protection
Includes a FREE Dry Ice Engine Bay Clean

We even replace those useless air filter box bolts – yes, those with the heads that also corrode to dust, making it impossible to get into the box to replace your air filter! We have had our own bolts designed with heads that do not corrode!

The Dinitrol treatment, will give you at least 5 years protection from corrosion, after that we can give the car a top up of the corrosion protection. But TBH I have seen Dinitrol treated cars after 7 years, still not require a top up.

GET THIS DONE BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE & CORROSION EATS YOUR LITTLE 500 PRIDE AND JOY ALIVE!

But we can also replace (for new) any components that are beyond treatment – likely culprits will be the rear axle which we replace with an aftermarket stronger version and the sump.
